FRENCH DEFENSE (10) could be the best option off the bottom of the handicap. He has run well on his last two starts and can edge this from previous course and distance winner KAPETANIOS (2) who has been off-key recently and a return to form on a track he likes looks like a good option. JOHEN (3) is one for the each-way backers to side with. POP LIFE (4) has been racing over further on the PSF recently and the drop in trip should not be too much of an issue.
