He has a good racing weight for his first try in a handicap. JARDIN SECRET (12) was a decent second in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil in February and can be competitive. HOSAVILLE (5) will be in a good frame of mind after a win at Moulins late last month. HOOKER DE BRENUS (9) and DENTOR DES OBEAUX (3) could be sensible options each way.

His main threat could be SAINT CRYSTAL (1), who scored in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil in mid-March and is a useful operator. KLOTH OF UTOPIA (6) was a decent third at Auteuil when last seen in late February in the Prix Juigne Hurdle (Grade 3). He can edge this over LE PHILOSOPHE (3), who has a couple of unplaced efforts in Grade 2 hurdles of late, but shaped well when fourth in a Grade 3 hurdle at this track in late November. KARAM LE ROUGE (5) has an absence to overcome but is capable of having a say in the finish. NOTHING TO SEA (7) looks best of the others.
