Woodhay Whisper is 4lb ahead of the handicapper after her good second at Wolverhampton last week and she can go well back on turf but this looks a warm race and both Royal Accord and KISSKODI are preferred. The former is making good progress this year and ran well from a poor track position at Newmarket a fortnight ago but Kisskodi has loads in hand of his mark judged on last week's Haydock second. He travelled powerfully through that race, kicking clear with his rider looking round for dangers 1f out, only to get picked off close home. The front two were over 8l clear of the third and he can gain compensation, for all that he has to prove himself on slower than good.[Paul Smith]
