Spotlight :
Commanding win in Grade 1 Future Champions at Leopardstown (2m, yielding) in December and beaten just over 7l when third in the Supreme Novices' at Cheltenham (2m, good to soft) last month; has won on good to yielding; holds leading form claims and is in good hands to continue to progress.

Spotlight :
Easily won maiden hurdle at Tipperary (2m, good to yielding) last May and did well to win Grade 2 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown (2m1f, soft) in January having lacked fluency; about 11l behind third-placed Romeo Coolio when fifth in the Supreme Novices' (2m, good to soft) last month and this headstrong sort now goes without his usual hood, but there can be optimism he's capable of better than he showed at Cheltenham; possible player.

Spotlight :
Runner-up in the Grade 2 bumper at this meeting 12 months ago (2m1f, good to soft) and he completed a hurdling hat-trick in the Grade 2 Dovecote at Kempton (2m, good to soft) in February; unraced on good ground; his jumping is a worry in this higher grade but he comfortably accounted for some useful types last time and can have a major say if minimising the mistakes.

Spotlight :
Won the Grade 2 mares' bumper here 12 months ago (2m1f, soft) and has improved with each of her four runs over hurdles, last time finishing third in the Grade 2 mares' novice at Cheltenham (2m1f, good to soft); unraced on good ground; could have more to offer now back here; might be thereabouts.

Spotlight :
Point winner (good to yielding) who was runner-up on first three rules starts before easily winning an Ayr novice (2m, soft); followed up in Grade 2 at Kelso (2m2f, good to soft) last month; jumped to the right last time, which would be a negative at another left-handed track today, and needs another step forward, but he's done nothing but improve and is not ruled out.

Spotlight :
Listed bumper winner who made it 2-2 over hurdles (2m/1m7f, good/soft) when easily landing a warm introductory race at Haydock in December; disappointing in Grade 2 there next time and this is even tougher, but he returns having had wind surgery and could have an each-way shout if back on song.

Spotlight :
French bumper winner (good to soft) who easily made all at Punchestown (2m, heavy) in January on second hurdle start; tailed off at 40-1 in the Supreme Novices' (2m, good to soft) and Paul Townend rides Willie Mullins' other runner Salvator Mundi, but he's not written off for his master trainer.

Spotlight :
Point winner who easily won a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m, good to soft) in January on his fourth rules start and followed up in Newbury novice (2m, soft) in February, when 1l ahead of Tutti Quanti who was subsequently a 28l sixth in the Supreme Novices'; a faster gallop in this higher grade could play to his strengths but lots of improvement is needed.

Spotlight :
Point winner (good to yielding) who was second on hurdle debut at Bangor (2m, good to soft) then comfortably went one better at Carlisle (2m1f, good to soft); it remains to be seen where his limitations lie but he takes on vastly tougher opposition here; others have more substance to their claims.

Spotlight :
Bumper winner who was thrown in at the deep end on hurdle debut in the Grade 2 Dovecote at Kempton (2m, good to soft) in February, when 24l fourth to Tripoli Flyer; likely to improve but he'd be a shock winner today.
