Just 0.40-lengths separated GRAN CANARIA, RED DAWN, and AFRIQUE in their recent 1600m meeting on the winter track last month and there shouldn't be much between the improving 3yo trio this time on the summer course. TENPENNY caught the eye when a fast-finishing second over 1400m last time and this extended trip should unlock further improvement. TUNGUSKA, GURKHA, and UMFULA are others likely to improve for the step up to this distance.
