Dual C&D winner STELLARMASTERPIECE should take all the beating after failing to stay 1m6f last time. She is favoured ahead of Laudable who has also won over C&D and will be more at home here after running over an inadequate 1m last time. Ribble River was below his best at Haydock last time but a case can be made on his best form, while Selwan ran much better when third at Carlisle recently. [Andrew Bladen]

Made a promising start to the year when second of ten at Redcar (1m2f, good) in April but out of the frame in two subsequent outings and didn't appear to get home over today's distance on the first of those at Thirsk (good to firm).
Won over 6f/7f when trained in Ireland but yet to be placed in five starts for current yard; first-time hood now applied on step up in trip; hard to fancy.
Progressive as he went up in trip in handicaps last year, winning at Carlisle (1m3f, good) and Hamilton (1m4f, good to soft) on final two starts; creditable third at Pontefract (1m4f) on return in April; did not build on that when sixth of nine at Haydock (1m4f, good) last month but may be worth another chance.
Second on his reappearance at Beverley (1m4f, good) in April but last of six on latest start at Haydock (1m2f, good to firm) last month; holds claims on his best form.
All three wins when trained in France in 2022; appreciated the drop in class when showing a bit more sparkle on second start for current trainer when third of 11 at Carlisle (1m3f, good to soft) 11 days ago; has dropped to a career-low mark and has claims if able to reproduce latest effort.
14-race maiden over distances between 7f-2m1f; has been placed six times but latest effort, when stepped up in trip, was not encouraging; has dropped to a career-low mark and needs to show improvement.
0-6 but placed for the first time when second at Tramore (1m4f, yielding) last August when trained by John Joseph Murphy; makes seasonal/stable debut and one to keep an eye on in the betting.
Didn't take to hurdles and much happier back round here this spring, landing her second C&D win in April off 5lb lower mark; 1m6f may have been a step too far when fourth of six here 11 days ago, and with first-time cheekpieces applied over her winning distance she must come into the reckoning.
Completed a three-timer when winning over C&D (soft) last September off 5lb lower mark; good second over distance short of his best at Ayr (1m, good to firm) last month and should run well back up in trip.
