Cuda Been A Rowlex looks the pick of the 3yos as at least he has shown he can win a race, but preference is for dual C&D winner PRINCE HECTOR who is 1-1 at this level and who may enjoy the run of the race out in front. Sunset In Paris is second choice on the return to this grade, while Pending Appeal and the longstanding maiden Hijo De La Luna complete the shortlist.[David Bellingham]

Didn't enjoy a clear run when seventh of 12 in a handicap over C&D 12 days ago and drops to this level for the first time, but he has finished unplaced in all 12 starts; others make greater appeal.
0-24 under rules, but he hasn't been with this yard for long and has run with credit, as when third over hurdles last month; each-way claims down in grade.
0-11; runner-up in handicaps here (8.6f) and at Lingfield (1m2f, Polytrack) in 2023, but well held on return from 614 days off at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) ten days ago; down in grade but only of interest if backed; cheekpieces on.
1-20; best recent effort when second of 11 in a similar contest here (8.6f) in March; still has stamina to prove but a player if reproducing that effort.
All five wins have come on the AW, four of them at this level including one over C&D; held in his last two starts in handicaps but respected back in a 0-50.
Hard to win with (3-57) though he hasn't had many goes at this level (1-4); has run well in four starts since returning from over a year off in April, but looks more likely to place than to win.
Out of the frame in five starts on Tapeta, but managed to win a 0-60 handicap at Redcar (1m2f, good) in April; chance if able to rediscover that form down in class.
