Quietness notched a win for the older brigade last season, and Azahara Palace looks the pick of the four contenders this time, but 3yos had been totally dominant prior to that and CREPE SUZETTE (nap), who continued the progression when off the mark on Tapeta six weeks ago, is preferred. It's easy to pick holes in the recent wins of Schemaya, Patsy Snugfit and Tempted.[Graham Wheldon]

Three-time winner for George Boughey last year, latterly in a seller; has struggled over hurdles for this yard (past twice in cheekpieces) and returns to the Flat weighted to her best; needs a major revival.
Four wins have all come round undulating courses over 1m but this trip is fine; latest effort is best overlooked and this is a touch easier back against her own sex but some rain would have been optimal.
Dual French 1m4f AW winner in the winter who was picked up for 44,000euros; pulled hard and weakened quickly (Polytrack) when tailed off for her new yard, which might be in better form, five weeks ago.
Inclined to overdo it when going this far previously but the return to 1m didn't suit (minus tongue-tie, as today) last time; that was a step back in the right direction though and she's on a competitive mark if settling.
Daughter of the yard's Group 1 Nassau winner Sultanina; had a couple of subsequent winners behind when landing a fillies' maiden on Tapeta six weeks ago; open to improvement now handicapping and looks interesting.
Made all when winning a less competitive Windsor race on her handicap debut three weeks ago (1m3.5f; good to firm); will need more, upped 5lb and coming back in trip, but remains lightly raced.
Recent C&D win, on first crack at beyond 1m, was attributed to first-time cheekpieces; it came from the front (a theme that evening) in a far less competitive affair, though, and she'll find this more demanding up 3lb.
Well backed when winning an ordinary fillies' maiden on Polytrack late last year; a long way below that level under a penalty when a remote last of six at Yarmouth two months ago and would want to see support again now handicapping.
Inclined to pull hard on her first two runs over 1m and didn't find as much as had looked likely when beaten at a short price in a C&D novice last time; that came in a tactical affair and stamina remains unproven as she goes handicapping.
Good bit to find in a Tapeta novice on comeback last month and hard to know the merit of that win, which came in a messy affair; this trip should be within range on pedigree, having just her second run on turf, but the handicapper has had his say.
Some way off the front pair on her turf/handicap debut (1m4f) at Chester a month ago and she didn't improve on it last time; trainer has a good record here (15-60) and Oisin Murphy also has a good record for him, but she's more exposed than some.
Tapeta win last autumn hasn't worked out and she finished well held on her Southwell comeback two months ago; goes beyond 7f for the first time and stamina is far from assured on pedigree.
Half-sister to a 1m winner for the yard; she ran as well as she was entitled to on her Ascot comeback over this trip a month ago but this looks competitive now handicapping.
