This is a fascinating clash between two horses with Group 1-winning form at this venue. White Birch won three races in a row, including this one, in the opening months of last season. However, he had setbacks after beating Auguste Rodin over a little further than this in the Tattersalls Gold Cup. Against that background, he may not cope with last year's Irish Derby winner LOS ANGELES, whose fourth in the Irish Champion Stakes represents top-class form at this trip.
