Bearing in mind his previous vulnerability in this race, Galopin Des Champs is overlooked in favour of SPILLANE'S TOWER, who finished in front of the dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner in the John Durkan here last December. The ground may be roughly similar to conditions at this fixture last year when Jimmy Mangan's star beat Monty's Star, and more suitable than when he failed to make an impact in the King George won by Banbridge.
