They will still encounter opposition from a barefoot KRACK DESBOIS (11) who has yet to disappoint at Caen, and the slightly trickier KARAT DEFF (6) who imposed over course and distance just over a month ago. KATHLEEN D'ECOTAY (8) would have finished in the money at Reims had she not faulted and Paul Ploquin will be determined to set the record straight.
