This is seriously competitive as cases can be made for most of the runners. Jasko Des Dames has to be on the shortlist after running so well in the Grand Annual and so too Springt De La Mare who had looked so good in his first two chases before an excusable failure last time. RELEASE THE BEAST is also on the comeback trail after failing to fire on his final run but the impressive Limerick winner over Christmas appeals as a chaser with lots more to offer.[Alistair Jones]
