Although DESERT HERO (7) is worse off in rating against MONTEVERDI (1), the following three reasons could swing it his way: First, he ran third in the South India Derby (Gr.1); second, he receives weight not only from Monteverdi but also the field; and third, he is the only 4-year-old in this bunch. The one capable of landing a deadly blow could well be CHAT (5), as she adores the longer trips.
