Top Man Tom has been a revelation with his two C&D wins and it's hard to say just how much he had in hand, but this race is undoubtedly a much harder task. Ready preference is therefore for the two Irish challengers Samui and HAMSIYANN (nap). The former would be hot to handle if his improvement on the Flat is transferred to this sphere, and he made a successful first step at it two weeks ago, but Hamsiyann's 2m5f win at Cheltenham contained stacks of promise.[Richard Austen]
