Studious did it well when making a successful nursery debut over 8.6f at Wolverhampton 12 days ago, but dropping back to 7f may pose a question given the way he went about it. Preference is for SWEET CICELY (nap) who improved for the step up to this trip when runner-up on nursery debut at the same venue last time. She may be even more effective on this stiffer track. Herkeios is well worth a second look now upped in trip on handicap debut.[David Bellingham]
