He's bound to be popular off the same mark but does have a stamina query over this longer trip and GRAND SABRE, who made his own breakthrough last time, conversely should relish it. Irish maiden point winner who is 0-5 over hurdles and was well held when unseating two out on chase debut over C&D last August, then beaten 26l at Worcester (2m7f, also good; jumped poorly) ten days later; dropped a total of 10lb for those runs but not seen since; only of interest if the market says so.
14-race maiden (0-8 chasing); found to be lame when disappointing at Southwell in February but was all set to win his first race when 12l clear then falling two out here (2m5f, good) one week ago; stamina to prove over this extended trip but he has obvious claims off the same mark.
Nothing to show for seven previous runs but he popped up in a small field when staying on strongly at Warwick (3m, good; 22-1) last time, with Moonlight Artist well adrift; that was just his second run over fences and his jumping was noticeably better; probably has more to offer, particularly over this sort of trip.
Back in good nick when fitted with a tongue tie for his two outings in April, latterly when battling on gamely for narrow win at Warwick (3m); flopped over that C&D (also good) behind Grand Sabre last month, when his jumping lacked fluency; question to answer now but possibilities if he can bounce back.
Won over hurdles at Fontwell (3m2f, good) in April 2023 and was a close second at Ludlow (2m5f, good) two months ago; however, he'd dropped to the rear when falling on last week's chase debut here (2m5f, good); Illogical Logic was skipping along merrily in the lead at the time so he probably has work to do.
Disputing third and staying on when he fell over C&D last August and he inherited third (eventually kept on for second) when Illogical Logic fell here (2m5f, also good) one week ago; this longer trip will help.
