Rebel's Romance
High-class 1m4f performer with a fine strike-rate and he's been all around the world; big question is the trip as this 7yo is unraced beyond 1m4f and takes on proven stayers, but he stays that shorter trip well.

Sweet William
Headgear and Rab Havlin for all starts; not a straightforward ride but he's only once failed to give his running (final start 2023) and took well to the visor last season, in which two wins included the 2m2f Doncaster Cup in good style; tries this trip for the first time since his C&D second in the 2023 Ebor and it may provide an insufficient stamina test nowadays.

Alsakib
Kept finding to get on top late on in a C&D Group 3 (good to soft; acts on acts on good to firm) last July but he disappointed on both subsequent starts and has since been gelded; probably needs a career best.

Continuous
Great Voltigeur winner on good to firm here in 2023, immediately preceding his victory in the St Leger and fifth in the Arc; he's not managed the same form since, stepping back up from 1m4f this term, but still showed enough to warrant respect in this field and today he sports first-time headgear.

Epic Poet
His fortunes began to turn again last season and the revival has reached another level this year with his performances over 1m6f-2m at Meydan and Riyadh; on last two starts he finished ahead of Continuous, who admittedly gave weight on the first occasion; not the form pick but he's highly respected.
