Calchas, Caitrinho and Royal Bodyguard are respected newcomers on various counts but they'll have to be pretty useful to beat LOGI BEAR who has useful form and the benefit of two races under his belt. Somebody is entitled to have some say and Faithful Dream could quite easily be seen in a different light than at Beverley.[Alistair Jones]

24,000gns yearling; ninth foal; closely related to three winners including Maaward (7f/1m; RPR 101) and Mignolino (5f-7.5f; 94); dam Italian 6f winner and half-sister to 5f 2yo Group 3 winner; stable can ready a newcomer; one to note in the betting.
Half-brother to two winning sprinters and his dam was quick; both runs over 5f on good ground, finishing strongly at Leicester and then probably bumping into a good one when modestly drawn at Goodwood; could be hard to beat.
35,000gns yearling; third foal; half-brother to French 1m4f winner Cheek To Cheek; dam placed 1m-1m4f (RPR 82), half-sister to 1m4f Group 2 winner One Foot In Heaven; sire injects some speed into the pedigree and stable won this last year with a newcomer.
32,000gns yearling; first foal out of a French 7f winner and half-sister to winners Gamgoom (Italian 5f Listed) and Impulsion (6f 2yo); stable's newcomers are usually best watched.
Drawn wide enough when well beaten at Chester last week but even a repeat of his second at Southwell (5f) might not be enough to topple Logi Bear, although was slowly away that day; entitled to have some say, however, now stepping up to 6f.
12,000gns yearling; first foal; dam 7f AW 2yo winner (RPR 85), closely related to useful 7f 2yo winner Ceanna; stable had a breeze-up buy win first time out last week at Ascot; market confidence would heighten interest for sure.
Stable's 2yos can improve plenty on their first run but this colt was slowly away at Beverley and hung late on, ultimately trailing the winner by 9l; odds of 9-2 suggests that better was expected of him.
11,000gns yearling; first foal; dam 7f/1m AW winner (RPR 62), half-sister to winners Victory Chime (1m2f Listed) and Pontchateau (useful 1m1f-1m3f); 6f looks on the sharp side given his pedigree.
8,000gns yearling; sixth foal; brother to 5f 2yo winner Al Hussar (RPR 87) and half-brother to three winners including Royal Charter (6f-1m; 104) and Old News (6f-1m; 86); dam unraced half-sister to US 1m2f Grade 1 winner Queen's Trust; one to watch on debut.
18,000gns yearling; third foal; half-sister to French 1m AW winner Bolzano; dam French/German 1m3f/1m4f winner, half-sister to 1m Group 1 winner Prosperous Voyage; makes sense to check the betting given her yard but may need further and she's the only filly.
