The very lightly raced 5yo Bleu Lagune was a promising fourth on last month's handicap debut at Kelso and is open to further improvement, but preference is for fellow mare DONSO STAR (nap) who showed some good form last spring (including at Perth) and is taken to build on last month's reappearance fourth here. Front-runner; second on handicap debut at Ayr (2m4f, soft) in February and she's been a fair fifth in double-figure fields at Down Royal (2m4f, good) and Ayr (2m4f, good to soft) the next twice; it was a 0-120 last time and she's tackling a 0-100 today; could be involved back down in grade.

10yo who lacks a recent run and was below par on his final two outings towards the end of last year; however, this four-time course winner ran well last June following a break and he's well treated on last year's best form; no surprise to see a good performance.
