C&D winner Beach Point arrives in good form having been second on his last four starts but some of the unexposed 3yos may have his measure. Top of the list is handicap newcomer DRAGONFLAME, who cost 250,000euros in 2023 and could tap back into the promise shown on his debut last July. The step up in trip could be a plus for Chiaretto and he's second choice ahead of stablemate Chelsea Old Church and Ruling Master.[Ben Hutton]

Runner-up on last four starts, most recently at Nottingham (1m2f, good to firm) a fortnight ago; he's back in cheekpieces today, in which he won over C&D (good to soft) last July; solid claims.
He's gone close on AW on two of his last five starts (1m3f/1m2f) and is also effective on turf; however, he's a 13-race maiden who is inconsistent and failed to threaten last time; another headgear swap.
It was his first crack at 2m when tailed off back on turf latest; some fair runs over 1m4f/1m6f on AW this year and there have been hints this drop back in trip may suit, but he's 0-7 and doesn't have compelling claims.
Promising third on debut at Chester (7.5f, good to soft) last August; lesser runs on his two starts since (7f/1m, AW/good to firm) but he has a useful pedigree and is an interesting candidate now going handicapping over a new trip for his in-form yard, especially if strong in the betting.
Ran well when third on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (9.4f, AW) last December and may have needed the run when fifth at Chelmsford (1m2f, AW) in March; gelded since and ran well on fast ground here last September; unexposed and could be capable off his current mark.
Caught the eye when staying on for seventh on debut at Newbury (6f, good to firm) last July; soundly beaten on both runs since (7f) but his dam was a 1m1f winner and he could appreciate the step up in trip on handicap debut; cost 250,000euros in 2023; might be able to take a sizeable step forward.
Did well to finish second of six over C&D (good to firm) a fortnight ago; however, he's now 0-27 and is 3lb out of the handicap today; no surprise if he's vulnerable once more.
Didn't show much last year on first three starts and beaten about 8l when fourth of six on recent handicap and seasonal debut here (1m, good to firm); however, he made some late headway in a race that has worked out well and this Ulysses 3yo may improve for today's step up in trip; a possible.
