All five wins have come over C&D and he put up a remarkable performance here eight days ago, barely going a yard early but then suddenly taking off rounding the home bend and winning cosily; has a 5lb penalty and given the smaller field it seems unlikely this will pan out the same way.

Looked far from the finished article in three starts at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) earlier in the year but showed ability, especially when second of seven in the middle outing; up in trip for handicap debut and the stable has struck with a couple of similar types lately; much respected.
