HIGHESTEND (1) Back from a spell. Pulled away to win by 3L last run at Funabashi and can save some energy from the alley. Strong hope. NOT REGRET (2) First up and brave effort to win narrowly first up last preparation at Funabashi. Should come to hand quickly. Added confidence with Tsubasa Sasagawa doing the steering. Sure to be thereabouts. WASEDA HEART'S (5) Competed in a tight contest last time around here. Happy to forgive that run but coming back in trip. Takayuki Yano and Terunobu Fujita are a formidable team. Must be considered. KIGASA (3) Came in 7th last run at Funabashi. Giving another chance here. Will be trying to topple them late. Looking sharp on the track since coming back from a spell. Has claims.
