Crafter should be a threat if he can bring his solid Lingfield form over to this track, but Dubai Immo (second choice), Egoiste and MEADRAM have already done it here, with marginal preference for the last-named runner, who has struck up a good partnership with Alice Tregoning. If there's a fly in the ointment it's most likely Blackwaterfoot, who's the least exposed of these and now makes his handicap debut up in trip under the evergreen Simon Walker.[Richard Russell]

Won twice on the Flat for previous yards (both at about 1m4f on good and good to firm) but hasn't got going for this one yet, including AW, and was beaten a long way on his last two hurdle outings; Eireann Cagney a positive booking but this 7yo now makes his first start over 1m2f for well over two years with plenty to prove.
Won at Wolverhampton (8.5f) in January and he turned in a respectable effort when third over that C&D on his penultimate run; not so good next time and he ran moderately in two previous starts here, while he also needs to prove this longer trip suits.
All four wins on turf at 1m2f, most recently last May, and she's now below that winning mark; ended last year with a whimper, however, and her three starts here have yielded little.
Four starts over C&D have brought him two wins and two narrow seconds, the last three under Alice Tregoning; turning into a course specialist and a 3lb rise for the latest of them in March should not prevent another big run.
Has shown best AW form at Lingfield over 1m2f; solid second under Tilly Evans there most recently (thriving winner has advertised the form since); good chance if he can transfer that form to this venue (first start here).
Regressed last year, both on turf and AW, including under Brodie Hampson; now returns from a 220-day break off a career-low mark with a question to answer; course debut.
C&D winner; two solid efforts over C&D this year and he won a 1m4f handicap at Kempton in April; last of four over C&D (Dubai Immo third) under Guy Mitchell 21 days ago, but that was a messy affair and this bigger field should help; chance.
Most of his family were campaigned in US but his one British-based sibling did win here; not much to show for three qualifying runs on AW at about 1m, the last two for this yard, but he now makes his handicap debut up in trip with Simon Walker booked; that last point alone makes him of interest.
Returned to form when scoring at Ripon (1m3f) in August and was good front-running third at York (1m2f, good to soft) next time, both times ridden by Charli Parker; finished last term quietly on soft and his AW form is yet to match his best on turf; had wind surgery ahead of this reappearance.
Off the mark for this stable with a ready win last month (form strongly franked by the runner-up; took record over C&D to 2-2); beaten less than 2l on his third C&D outing (Egoiste behind) three weeks ago, when partnered by Megan Trainor; thereabouts.
