Not the strongest maiden and none of them can be safely ruled out. John T (second choice) found a good chunk of improvement when hooded for his Windsor return 17 days ago and should have every chance of going one better if the lack of hood, step up in trip and return to AW aren't negatives. However, GALLIVANTED had his third at this track in September boosted a few times since and there's plenty in his pedigree to suggest this new trip will suit. The Belgravian backers are entitled to be losing their patience but he still rates a danger in this company.[Richard Russell]

Bumper (Tapeta) and dual hurdle winner who was the subject of market interest on her Flat debut at Catterick (1m4f, good to firm; Belgravian second) three weeks ago, before being beaten just over 3l; this is another moderate maiden and she might be capable of better; Polytrack debut.
Mildly progressive in her first three bumpers before being well beaten at 125-1 in a Grade 2 at Aintree last month; now makes her Flat/AW debut in a race that won't take the world of winning.
Took a good step forward from his Windsor debut when third of 11, beaten 3l, in a course novice (again over 1m) last term; big step up in trip for this reappearance but his pedigree offers plenty of hope for it and he had subsequent winners in front and behind him last time; interesting.
20,000gns foal; gelded son of Fastnet Rock; closely related to French 1m (Listed) and 9.7f winner Dark Orchid (RPR 106), half-brother to four winners including Orchid Star (Listed-placed 7f/1m AW; 100); dam French 10.5f winner, half-sister to French Derby winner Hernando; yard is just 4-86 in maidens over the last five years but he's introduced at an ordinary level.
Green when seventh on his debut at Bath last autumn and again let his backers down on his Tapeta comeback (both about 1m) when fourth of nine last month, having been gelded; no major improvement for the step up to 1m4f at Catterick three weeks ago, finishing second but a beaten favourite for the third time; may need even further but this is winnable and he's in the mix once more.
Well-held seventh on his debut here (1m) in December and was withdrawn after refusing to enter the stalls on his return visit in March; gelded subsequently and he showed what he could do when second of nine in a hood at Windsor (1m2f, good to firm; 66-1 again) 17 days ago; up in trip once more, with no hood this time, but that last run just about sets the standard.
Masar half-sister to two winners at sprint trips; fair debut when fourth, beaten just over 8l, behind an Oaks entry at Lingfield (1m2f; 50-1) 17 days ago; now steps up in trip and is open to improvement.
