David O'Meara does extremely well with his French recruits and the very lightly raced CREATIF (nap) can follow up his easy win at Newcastle. The reappearing See That Storm is 3-3 in handicaps and for Ed Bethell, and could be the standout danger. Lord Protector can run another good race.[Ben Hutton]

Failed to kick on last season after winning on handicap/seasonal debut and sold out of Ollie Sangster's yard for 14,000gns in October; however, he's clearly capable when fresh and is not ruled out on this stable debut.
Ex-French 4yo who, having had gelding/wind operations, made it 2-4 when winning at Newcastle (1m2f, AW) on his reappearance and second stable start; he's just the type his trainer excels with and an 8lb rise may well not stop him.
Down the field on reappearance at Doncaster in March and it's hard to be confident on the back of that; however, he won on his second start of last season (1m2f, AW), and added another win at Ayr (1m2f, good) last July, and is not written off.
Won last July-September on his first three starts in handicaps and for this yard (1m2f, good to firm; twice over C&D); gelded since; this 4yo could still have more to offer and has to be respected on his return.
7yo who isn't the force of old and is without a win since July 2023 but he's run well to be placed off this reduced mark on his two outings this season (1m2f, AW/good) and could be thereabouts.
Won three times last year, the latest over C&D (good) in September; soundly beaten fourth on reappearance at Ripon a fortnight ago but may have needed the run and could pose a much bigger threat today.
