Yakhabar has been running better of late including when runner-up at Southwell this month. He should go close if repeating that performance, but preference is for SMOKEY MALONE (nap) who is the only previous course winner in the field and who again ran well when second of 12 over slightly shorter here last time. The unexposed Forglen has shaped as though worth a go over this far and looks best of the others.[David Bellingham]

Not much to get excited about at big odds in three starts over 1m2f/1m3f on turf/Tapeta last year; up in trip for her handicap debut after seven months off and improvement needed; stable may have a better chance with Yakhabar.
Five wins on the AW including here (1m2f); twice placed off this mark since winning narrowly at Southwell (1m4f, Tapeta) in January, including when second of 12 back here (13.3f) last time; should go well again.
Little in his first four starts, but having undergone wind surgery he has finished fourth in a couple of handicaps at Southwell (1m4f, Tapeta) since returning from six months off last month; still unexposed and has shaped as though worth a go over this far.
Both wins have come at Newcastle (1m4f, Tapeta); running better of late having dropped in the weights, as when beaten a length into second of ten at Southwell (16.5f, Tapeta) this month; a player if able to repeat that effort back on Polytrack in returning blinkers.
One of his better efforts when third of seven at Wolverhampton (1m6f, Tapeta) in February, but didn't repeat it back there last month and is now 0-17; look elsewhere.
