Last month's Clonmel winner AR NOS GAOITHE is taken to defy an 8lb rise on ground which could suit. Navy Waves and Cher Tara could be the selection's most dangerous rivals. [Alan Hewison]

Lowly rated Flat maiden and hadn't shown much hurdling until improvement on handicap debut last month when forcing tactics employed in 2m5f Ayr contest, ultimately reeled in run-in by 3l winner (soft); improving mare though likely stiffer task here.
Struggled so far in handicaps, most recently never counting over this trip at Fairyhouse last month; handicapper giving him a chance (down 12lb from opening mark).
Pick of six attempts hurdling when third in 2m4f Cork handicap in December that's working out well (yielding); not far off that run in 2m7f Punchestown maiden since when trip stretched her; one to consider back in a handicap over probably her best trip.
Off the mark at 12th attempt last month in 2m3f Clonmel amateur handicap, travelling well throughout and readily asserting before two out (soft); 8lb rise for that but could still be well treated and better ground no problem.
Went close in a point-to-point a year ago and mild promise on recent handicap debut when positively ridden over this trip at Punchestown last month; not one to rule out.
Thurles maiden hurdle winner in 2022 and several good efforts in defeat since, notably on return from 262-day absence at same venue 11 days ago, coming late for second (good-to-yielding) over inadequate 2m; 2lb higher but should go well back up to a more suitable trip.
Modest form for Dan Skelton, best effort when second in 2m Market Rasen handicap last summer (good); okay yard debut at Leopardstown recently so don't rule out her making the required improvement to feature.
Winless since landing 2m4f mares' maiden hurdle at Clonmel in 2022 (yielding); has missed recent engagements due to ground, which has come into her favour here so could improve.
Two Flat wins; 0-21 hurdling; went close on second start for current yard over 2m5f at Fairyhouse in November but has failed to match that form since; place possibility.
Low-grade maiden hurdler ran well in 2m4f Sligo handicap last summer (soft) but not much since; fair chase effort here latest considering he was badly hampered; can't rule out.
Reserve; three-time Flat winner in France ran a career-best for this yard on his handicap debut when fifth behind Prince Quattro here in January over 2m1f on similar ground; ran no sort of race at Thurles 11 days ago, though.
