Tilsworth Ony Ta has enjoyed more success on Polytrack in his career, but he has twice run well since returned to this level and he makes more appeal than many. Kapparis Kid has possibilities if maintaining his recent form for his new yard, while Lynwood Lad and Midnightattheoasis are others for the shortlist. However, preference is for ROGUE THUNDER (nap) who has been running well in handicaps over C&D in recent months (including a win) and drops into a 0-50 contest for the very first time.[David Bellingham]

C&D winner but has struggled since making all on turf at Lingfield (6f, good) in August; may enjoy the run of the race with Luke Morris back in the saddle, but that still may not be enough.
Fair efforts the last twice including when dropped to this level here (5f) six days ago, but now 0-12 and needs more; has worn all of this headgear before, but not together.
Has won a couple of similar contests narrowly at Southwell (6f, Tapeta) for Tony Carroll this year; changed hands for 3,400gns last month and holds claims if in the same form on debut for new yard.
C&D winner for Jonathan Portman as a 3yo; was having his third start for this yard and returning from six months off when third of 11 in a similar contest at Chelmsford (6f, Polytrack) nine days ago; each-way claims.
Just 1-21 but he ran his best race for a while when beaten half a length in a 0-60 handicap at Kempton (6f, Polytrack) 12 days ago (fourth has won since); one for the shortlist.
His last seven starts have been in handicaps over C&D (record 3132644) and he drops to this level for the first time; needs a good pace to aim at, but may well get it and looks the one to beat.
Veteran who has gained three wins here, but has been below form since winning narrowly over this trip in November; return to blinkers from cheekpieces will need to make a difference.
Three wins on Polytrack and has run well to be placed in both starts since returned to this level at Chelmsford (5f/6f) this year; 0-14 on Tapeta but he still comes into this with stronger credentials than most.
