There are some likely improvers lurking with Missy Mole of particular interest. However, there's guesswork involved to make her case and preference is for STAR VANTAGE, who should get a stronger pace to chase than last time at Haydock. Izzy's Grey is second choice.[Alistair Jones]

Unlike a few of these he arrives here with no wellbeing issues after placed efforts over this trip on good ground at Bangor; handicap mark hasn't moved too much and he should be in the thick of it.
Held up off a steady pace when a close fourth of the five runners at Haydock (3m, good); mostly consistent and cheekpieces now replace his usual hood; likely contender.
Best form was in bumpers but was under 9l away in a 2m3f Hereford handicap last month after 112 days off; did weaken that day and will need to see out this longer distance.
Has yet to fire over hurdles and well held in a Hereford handicap last time despite attracting interest in the market; that was over 2m and he's not bred to stay this far.
Seven defeats under rules include three handicaps and he hasn't threatened in any of them (when runner-up two starts back he was beaten some 26l); didn't run too badly at Stratford last time in first-time cheekpieces and now goes in blinkers; has to improve, however.
Winning chaser who is 0-11 over hurdles but was only 3l away at Newton Abbot three weeks ago (2m5f, good); stamina not proven over this far but has each-way claims.
Remote fourth in his two chases and now returns to hurdles, over which he has run well off higher marks; ground/trip fine and blinkers are now tried (effective in cheekpieces); possibilities.
Has shown pretty much nothing in five runs but she now goes handicapping in first-time headgear; 3lb out of the weights but would be interesting if backed.
