This looks a fair race of its type which seems likely to concern the previous winners. Ronnies Rules is 5-6 when completing in points, bumpers and hurdles and he did it well at Ffos Las last week. He is a player, alongside Kahavari who remains open to improvement for his new yard. Things haven't quite worked out for I'M A LUMBERJACK in either start since winning at Warwick in December, but the style of the victory is still fresh in the mind and if rediscovering that form he should take the beating.[David Bellingham]

Bumper winner who was having his second start after wind surgery when successful over hurdles at Market Rasen (2m5f, good) last month; still open to further improvement, but has a bit to find with a few on these terms.
0-5 in bumpers albeit Listed-placed; looked a nice hurdling prospect when winning in fine style at Warwick (2m5f, good to soft) in December, but things haven't gone to plan in either start since with his jumping proving an issue; major chance if reverting to the Warwick form.
Won over hurdles (2m3f, soft) in France and made a promising stable debut when second of eight at Carlisle (2m1f, good to soft) in February; unseated at the first in a 0-130 handicap at Uttoxeter last month, but a player back in novice company; stable runs three.
Won a Sedgefield maiden hurdle (2m1f, good to soft) in December and was still in with every chance (albeit sent off at 1-2) when falling two out over the same C&D (good) five weeks ago; each-way claims; non-runner.
Irish point winner who was 3-3 in Stratford bumpers (good/good to firm) last summer; lost his rider (not always his fault) in his first two starts over hurdles, but made no mistake on his return from six months off at Ffos Las (2m, good to soft) a week ago; further improvement needed, but that is possible.
Won a point bumper here and an Aintree bumper (good) last spring, but has disappointed in both starts over hurdles (underwent wind surgery before latest outing); plenty to prove.
In the frame in two of his three starts in Irish points; gelded prior to this stable/hurdles debut and although he may have a future over jumps (coming from the family of Impek) this looks a tough starting point.
Nicely bred (from the family of Pearlyman) but well held in three starts in bumpers last year; faces a stiff task on hurdles debut after five months off.
Irish mares' maiden point winner two years ago, but little to enthuse about in two starts over hurdles 17 months apart; tongue-tie given a go; stable holds stronger claims elsewhere.
