Puddlesinthepark has run well in both completed starts since his sole chase success at Hereford and is likely to go well again, while Elpologreg has also been running well in defeat lately so is considered despite being 4lb out of the weights. FELTON BELLEVUE has been well held the last twice, but it's possible to make excuses for both performances and he did it well when winning at Lingfield in February.[David Bellingham]

Four wins over fences, the latest a comfortable success at Lingfield (2m7f, soft) in February; twice held since, but the race may have come too soon at Ludlow a week later while 3m7f appeared to stretch him at Chepstow last time; respected.
1-17 over fences, the win coming in returning cheekpieces at Hereford (3m1f, good to soft) in February; has run with credit in both completed starts since and one for the shortlist.
Three wins over fences last spring on ground ranging from good to heavy, the latest over C&D; made all when causing a 33-1 surprise over hurdles at Chepstow (3m, soft) in February, but well beaten in both starts since and not quite sure what to expect.
Sole success came over hurdles at Hereford (2m, good to soft) in March 2023; absent for almost 20 months after April of that year and has only shown ordinary form in five starts over fences since returning in December; more needed.
Placed five times from higher marks in ten starts over fences, but is 0-17 under rules and has been well beaten the last twice including over hurdles; reverts to just cheekpieces, but he has enough to prove.
Sole success in 19 starts under rules came here (2m5f, soft) last September and she is now 1lb lower; ran with credit when third of six at Taunton (2m7f, good to firm) ten days ago, but she still has stamina to prove over this far.
Won twice in the autumn of 2023 including over C&D, but was off for 518 days before pulling up on her Chepstow return (3m, good) last month (Puddlesinthepark third); 1lb below her last winning mark, but she needs to step up.
1-19 with his win coming at Fakenham (2m, soft) early last year; placed in his last three starts at Fontwell including when second of seven over a similar trip to this (good) last month; 4lb out of the weights, but still more appealing than a few.
