Four-time C&D winner VENTURA EXPRESS (nap) reappeared with a promising second at Newcastle recently and has the benefit of the rail draw today. The unexposed 4yo Fahrenheit Seven was third in that Newcastle race and may be the chief danger ahead of two-time course winner Dream Composer, and Wen Moon who also goes well here. Alzahir won in a big field at Doncaster recently but that was over 7f.[Ben Hutton]

Below par on final two outings last season but before those he won in good style over C&D (disputed lead) to make it 2-5 here; can go well fresh and he's one to consider on his reappearance.
Front-runner who was suited by the drop back to 5f when winning at Doncaster (5f, good) last September and ran well in defeat the next twice (5f, soft); this unexposed 4yo could have more to offer this term.
Returned from wind surgery to win in a big field at Doncaster (7f, good) nine days ago; under a 5lb penalty he remains well treated on his old form and he ran fairly well over 6f at Newcastle (AW) in January, but he's never raced over this trip so has a question to answer today.
Disappointing on final three runs last term but won twice during that campaign (6f/5f, good/good to soft) and he's run well to finish second on his reappearances in each of the last two seasons; not ruled out.
Won at Windsor (5f, good to firm) last August for Roger Varian but well beaten towards the end of last year on first two runs for this yard and hopes are pinned on the subsequent wind surgery prompting a revival.
Inconsistent last season but won three times and, while those came on heavy/soft ground, he also ran some big races on good/good to soft going; not discounted on his return to action.
Lightly raced 4yo who won three times last year (5f/6f, including on good/good to soft) and reappeared with good third at Newcastle last month (5f, AW; Ventura Express second); could build on that and is drawn well.
Just one win from his 30 turf starts and a wide draw could be a negative, while his recent AW win came over 7f; however, he ran well in a 5f handicap on grass last July and is not ruled out.
Won off this mark at Southwell (5f, AW) in December and also effective on turf (albeit 0-10 on grass); however, his form has been mixed since that win; needs something extra with blinkers replacing cheekpieces.
