Busby won well on Monday, but that was a 0-50 classified event so CITY ESCAPE is preferred following her success in a 0-58 handicap the following day. Missed the break last Tuesday but still managed to break a 17-race losing run and record her fourth C&D success; has a 4lb penalty for that (although just 3lb higher) but every chance of going in again.
Seen more often over further these days, but last week still managed to win over C&D for the fifth time; that was a 0-50 classified event and his 4lb penalty means he is 7lb higher than when last successful in a handicap, but he still commands respect.
Won twice over 1m on Tapeta elsewhere in September and 4lb lower than for the most recent; stays at least this far, but she needs to better her last two performances.
Both wins on Polytrack and only been narrowly beaten in his last two starts at Lingfield (1m2f); however, his record around here reads 07578 which is a cause for concern.
Unplaced in all six starts and although she got a little closer in first-time blinkers at Chelmsford (1m, Polytrack; 125-1) nine days ago, still only finished sixth of nine; best watched for now.
Running better since returning in 0-50 classified events in January, narrowly getting off the mark at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) ten days ago; has a bit more to do back in a handicap and still has to convince with her stamina, but she still makes more appeal than many.
Winner of two Lingfield handicaps (1m2f, Polytrack) and a novice hurdle for this yard; didn't enjoy the best of runs on his return at the former track three weeks ago, but needs to improve for the switch to blinkers on Tapeta debut.
0-8; twice placed at Chelmsford (1m2f, Polytrack) for Rae Guest last August, but has shown little in either start for this yard; plenty more needed in the returning hood.
2-33 with both wins coming over C&D; 3lb lower than for the most recent, but he ended last year quietly and has enough to prove back from another 84 days off.
