Failed to build on stable/handicap debut fourth at Southwell (2m) when well beaten at Lingfield (2m again) three weeks ago; now drops back 4f in trip with cheekpieces added; still early days.
Course winner who also made all at Chester (1m4f) off 5lb higher at the start of last summer, but he made an inauspicious start for Lisa Williamson when last of seven over 1m6f here in December.
Second past the post at Kempton (1m3f) on Wednesday under Warren Fentiman but awarded the race after being carried left in the closing stages; first-time visor worn on that occasion is retained; 5lb penalty now and Fentiman is on connections' Khangai this time.
Has made a promising start to his career this winter, placing in novice at Newcastle (1m) and maiden here (9.4f) last month; this well-related son of Frankel is very much the unexposed one now stepping up to 1m4f for his handicap debut.
Made a respectable return from a nine-month break when sixth of nine here (1m6f) over Christmas and he's down to only 1lb above the mark he defied at Goodwood under Rossa Ryan in autumn 2023; not discounted.
Two close calls to start his career last January but failed to kick on subsequently, including 8l fourth of five on C&D handicap debut in April; absent since and perhaps best watched unless the betting strongly hints otherwise.
Kept busy since dead-heating over C&D off 1lb lower in November; never involved when stepped up to 1m6f at Southwell eight days ago, his fourth run in January, but this trip is more suitable.
Completed a course hat-trick (1m4f/1m6f) under Tommie Jakes in December/January; not in the same form when 8l fourth at Southwell latest but no surprise were she to resume her progress back at Wolverhampton.
Has won four times on the AW, including for this yard at Chelmsford (2m) last January, but out of sorts when last seen in the spring and it's likely best to look elsewhere back down in trip after nine months off.
Has done well on AW for current yard, winning three times, including over C&D; offered enough when fourth over C&D last time to think he's still in form; 7lb claimer Warren Fentiman partnered Kinetic to victory for the same connections at Kempton on Wednesday, but switches to this one now; respected.
