Lagonda will be a tough nut to crack if able to replicate the form of her Hereford second from two starts ago but MICKS JET produced an excellent performance in first-time cheekpieces last month and, if today's longer trip suits, she might be good enough to overcome a 10lb rise. Heva Rose disappointed behind the selection on her seasonal debut but has possibilities if back on song.[Chris Wilson]

Rallied for narrow win at Huntingdon (2m7f, good to soft) in November, her second chase, but was pulled up after becoming unsteerable on next outing and spoiled her chance by jumping persistently left last time; could still have untapped potential over fences but is risky at present.
Built upon her encouraging chase debut when winning comfortably by 18l in first-time cheekpieces at Wetherby (2m3f, soft) a fortnight ago; went up 10lb for that but is evidently in prime form, and could plausibly be even better over 3m.
2-7 over hurdles; no threat to wide-margin winner when second at Uttoxeter (2m4f, good to soft) a fortnight ago but is unexposed over 3m and has some Irish pointing experience to call upon on this chasing debut.
Ended last season in good form, most notably when winning four-runner mares' chase at Catterick (3m1f, soft), but has struggled on both outings this term and needs to get back in the groove.
Ought to have coped better with the heavy ground when pulled up over hurdles on seasonal debut in December but ended her first chasing campaign with good second in valuable final of this Challenger Mares series at Cheltenham (3m1f, good) last April and has claims if judged on that performance.
0-9 over fences but has made the frame on all three appearances under regular rider Shane Quinlan this season, including creditable second of 13 in valuable mares' race at Hereford (3m1f, good to soft) in December; likely to be in the shake-up again here.
Won two marathon chases last winter but looked out of sorts when pulled up in this season's editions of those two races and needs the addition of cheekpieces to give her a huge boost.
2-3 during light campaign last season, the latter win gained off today's mark in valuable series final at Hereford (3m1f, good); pulled up in 2m3f Wetherby race won by Micks Jet last month but has possibilities here if that outing brought her on.
