It's not all been plain sailing for BOBBI'S BEAUTY (nap) but she has won two of her four chase starts and the style of her win here last time gives plenty of encouragement. Watchoutitscookie scored in similarly impressive style at Newcastle and is second choice, while Thirsty Farmer is shortlisted on the strength of his chase debut last month which came after a long absence.[Richard Austen]

Runner-up three times as a juvenile hurdler in France but, following a long absence, has not shown a great deal on his four British starts; the last three of those were over fences.
Irish maiden point winner; her two wins under rules (13 races) were on soft/heavy and best hurdle form needs respect, but the switch to chasing did not go well in her two attempts in December.
Won by 22l at Exeter (2m3f, heavy) on chasing debut last March; back from his summer break with two good seconds over about 2m6f but the scale of his defeat when runner-up again on latest outing (back over Exeter's 2m3f) indicated a lesser show; place chance but others are preferred for the win.
Took her score to 2-4 over fences with a 6l win here (2m, soft) six weeks ago and last February's win was over 2m4f on heavy; raised another 8lb but has to be high on the list.
Very inconsistent this season and his win at Fontwell (good ground; 5lb higher today) on penultimate start was over 3m2f; his soft-ground form was two years ago and he pulled up on his only appearance on heavy.
Heavy-ground 2m hurdle winner at this track in December 2022; that remains his only win, however, and he was pulled up here on chase debut on his only start last season; off 417 days.
Acts on soft, below form sole start on heavy; 1-15 over hurdles and now 1-5 as a chaser after making all at Newcastle (extended 2m7f, good to soft) seven weeks ago; back up 6lb but that was a taking performance.
Won over hurdles off this mark at Stratford (2m6f, good) in May 2022; not seen again until five weeks ago but that was another good performance, when never-nearer third on chase debut at Leicester (2m4f, soft; 25-1); may need to find a bit extra but that was an encouraging return.
Showed some ability in points last term; tailed off at big odds this season on his three starts over hurdles but it's always possible that chase/handicap debut will be more positive; he's also tongue tied for the first time and it will be interesting to see what the market moves are.
Handicap debut off this mark here (extended 2m3f, soft) last time revealed him in a much more positive light but he fell when challenging two out; that was over hurdles and this is over fences, with improved form probably needed, but he now requires a second look.
Veteran who scored over hurdles here (heavy) in 2019 and broke a long losing run two years ago over fences at Plumpton; no joy since but, even though he's 2lb out of the weights today, he's regularly shown enough to be given a place chance.
Took nine attempts to get off the mark in points; achieved very little in his three hurdle races and a handicap chase, given wind surgery before the last named in December (3m1f); 9lb out of the handicap.
