A case can be made for several of these excellent and in-form sprinters. The switch to Polytrack raises a question for BROOKLYN NINE NINE but the return to this trip will suit after scraping home over 5f at Southwell recently and there's still time for him to prove himself a high achiever. The main danger can come from the well-treated Batal Dubai, although We Never Stop is very likely to be involved and eyes are wide open for the unexposed Sanat.[Emily Weber]

Talented 2yo who was placed in Group 2 and 3 races over 5f; just three runs in 2024 but looked to retain plenty of ability in Group 3 at Ascot in May; worrying that he started slowly either side of that, most recently at Lingfield last week, but the return to 6f will suit and he still has potential.
Flourishing over 6f on Tapeta, following a tight Southwell win with a narrow defeat on unfavourable terms in a conditions race there next time; has since given it a good shot in a strong Newcastle handicap and looks likely to do so again despite a 2lb rise; Polytrack debut.
In fine fettle recently, leaving it late for narrow 6f wins at Southwell and Kempton, but he didn't do himself justice on his course debut at Newcastle ten days ago and this is another warm race in which to revive.
Front-runner; winner of two of his four starts here, both at 5f although he was worn down only late over C&D last January; similar story at Wolverhampton recently (off 2lb lower) and although he has the rail draw he might be vulnerable late on again.
Made it 2-3 on Tapeta when winning over 5f at Southwell recently, where he led close home after getting run off his legs at halfway; up 3lb to career-high mark but has often shaped better than the bare result so probably worthy of it; return to 6f can suit; Polytrack debut.
Not especially prolific for the Charltons but he had some smart form in good 6f AW handicaps last winter, including a C&D win; went through a quiet spell but well treated now and he took advantage on second run for new yard at Lingfield (7f) last week; back up 2lb; respected on return to 6f.
Both wins over 5f on turf in Ireland, most recently in September; sold for 27,000gns since and this looks a tough starting point for new trainer, back over 6f on AW debut; first-time tongue-tie.
Found new reserves since back from a break and tongue tied, racing clear in fine style at Lingfield (6f) recently; however, he ran flat back at Southwell last week and some quick runs may be catching up with him.
Speedy type who showed plenty of dash, despite the narrow win, at Nottingham (6f) on final start for Roger Varian; raced freely when dropped to 5f on yard debut at Newcastle but the gaps didn't come for him and he couldn't pick up quickly enough when one did; remains of interest but up in grade and 3lb out of the weights back at 6f.
