Both wins on turf, most recently over 2m in April; does act on artificial surfaces but in poor form since cheekpieces were fitted and can only be watched, despite being 6lb below that latest winning mark.

A 2m winner on Polytrack in Ireland early in 2023 but he was pulled up over hurdles for new yard following an absence and was soundly beaten back on AW last week; big step forward needed for first-time tongue-tie.

Off the mark over C&D in November but he couldn't take advantage of some favourable handicapping when third at Wolverhampton next time and was well held there most recently; had wind surgery since and now tongue tied; too early to rule out back here.

Won two of his last three AW starts, easily over 2m here and just got there in time over 1m6f at Chelmsford in the spring; the return to hurdles didn't do much for him in June but he was entitled to need his Newcastle run before Christmas and has to be respected back on this track.

In a good run of form over 1m4f on Tapeta for new yard, winning on this track in November and then at Wolverhampton 13 days ago (refitted cheekpieces, retained) when the race panned out favourably; back up 3lb but the new trip raises a question.

Three staying wins on the AW but they were all in 2021 and his recent runs, especially over C&D last time out, haven't suggested he's about to end the losing run; usual aids left off.

Maiden who has a staying race in him judged on recent efforts over 1m6f at Wolverhampton and 2m here; latest defeat came in a higher grade but he ought to go well back at 1m6f returned to this track.

Didn't pull up any trees in handicaps for previous yard but his debut for this one was more encouraging and he improved on it when fourth of 12 at Wolverhampton (2m) on Boxing Day; may yet do better.

Chase winner in April but he's 0-29 on the Flat and is very hard to fancy on what he's achieved in this discipline in 2024.
