One Night Stand
Prominent racer; C&D win off 4lb lower last month; subsequent 6f defeat from a wide stall easy to forgive but he was a shade disappointing here 18 days ago (unable to lead; King Of Stars finished in front of him); not discounted despite the widest stall.

Michaela's Boy
Gelded and underwent wind surgery prior to his stable debut in August; mixed record for current yard but his latest second of ten at Chelmsford (made the running) was his best effort for a while; other pace to deal with but he's not discounted.

King Of Stars
Ran his best race back from a long absence when fifth of nine, beaten one length, over C&D 18 days ago; had to go hard early to gain the lead there and his run can be upgraded; handicapped to go well but there is other pace to deal with here too.

Existent
On a long losing run but he retains ability and is on a lowly mark; notably strong in the betting ahead of his return to AW three weeks ago and he ran a respectable race to finish third (no excuses); should run his race but perhaps not one to go overboard with nowadays.

Pure Angel
Easy winner of a C&D novice in November 2022; has had little racing since and her reappearance at Chelmsford last month saw her finish down the field but she was back from a 491-day absence and did hint that she retained some ability (met a bit of trouble and given a considerate ride in the straight); well handicapped on 2023 form and she's still capable of better.

Bang On The Bell
Good record at this track, winning on five of his 14 visits (placed on five other occasions); third over C&D last month and latest Chelmsford effort wasn't too bad given he had to work hard early to lead and was caught wider than ideal; handicapper easing his burden; one to take seriously.

Strong Power
Went close at Doncaster (6f, good) in June but he's rated much lower on turf; triple-figure odds and well beaten in two runs back on AW this winter; likely to come good again at some point; betting to guide.
