Coped well with the drop to 5.5f when winning here at the Leger meeting; good second at Pontefract next time; below par at Chelmsford when last seen but this is two classes lower and he's not fully exposed; soft ground would be a new experience (win came on good to soft).

She hasn't found her best form on AW so far this year but the drop in class will help and she has run well at this track in the past; could go well at a price.

Promise in novice/maiden company and she ran a sound race on her handicap debut at Chelmsford four weeks ago (7f); more will be needed to take this and she's making her turf debut but the best could be yet to come.

Took a while to get off the mark but ended 2023 on a sharp upward curve, winning 7f handicaps at Redcar and Newcastle; carried on the good work when coming from off the pace to win a Newcastle handicap 32 days ago, form boosted by the third since; 2lb rise not beyond him and there's plenty in his favour today.

C&D win on soft ground one year ago (15 ran; 3lb higher); failed to build on it subsequently but he returns for his new stable (sold 9,000gns in October) off a potentially lenient mark; one to consider, especially if backed.

Sister to the yard's prolific winners Al Simmo and Albeseeingyer (won this race last year) and she did her bit for the family tree when easily accounting for eight rivals in a Class 6 handicap at Redcar (7f, good) last June; ended last season with a close fourth at Leicester (behind Shark One Two; short of room in the final 100 yards) and appeals as the type to do better still as a 6yo; untried on slower than good to soft and mixed messages from her siblings with regard to ground preference.

Mister Sox
Won a 7f handicap at Catterick (soft) last September; ran well in a Class 4 over C&D (heavy) on his final 3yo start and perhaps needed the run when down the field at Thirsk on his return 17 days ago; change of headgear this time; could go well.

Off the mark in weak Class 6 event at Chepstow (7f, good to soft) last July; limitations exposed in deeper fields subsequently; conditions shouldn't be an issue but there are risks back from 163 days off.

Won two 7f handicaps on softer than good last autumn; only 2lb higher than for the second of them and this month's return to action should have sharpened him up; not discounted.

Hard to win with and although he's operating off a reduced mark, he remains vulnerable for win purposes; was staying on over 6f last week but still has something to prove over this far; down in class at least.

2-2 since a visor went on, winning a Kempton classified event (7f) before adding a Southwell handicap last month; poor form on turf early in his career but wouldn't hold that against him.

Still to build on last spring's promising debut (6f, soft); dropped 20lb since moving into handicaps and possible that getting back on a slow surface for the first time since his debut will give him a lift.
