Quite a few of these warrant consideration in a fairly competitive race for the grade but the most interesting one is unexposed 7yo FAR SIGHT, who made a very promising handicap debut for another stable just over a year ago and now represents a trainer with an excellent strike-rate. Yealand has made good progress in recent months and is feared most, while Elle Est Beau has strong claims if judged on her penultimate run.[Chris Wilson]

2-4 since moving into handicaps, and was one of two to pull a long way clear of the others when scoring at Haydock (2m3f, soft) last month; another 6lb higher here but good 5lb claimer Luke Scott is enlisted; respected.
Well beaten in valuable novices' handicap at Sandown last month but was placed four consecutive times beforehand, including when close second on handicap debut at Hereford (2m3f, soft); back in calmer waters here and a likely contender.
Seen only twice again since winning Irish point debut in 2021 but his hurdling debut in January 2023 was very promising and he returned from his latest absence with a narrow win at Hexham (2m, heavy) last month; up in trip for handicap debut; should have more to offer.
Finished tired on heavy ground at Carlisle in February but caused 16-1 surprise on rules debut at Newcastle (2m1f, soft) in January and remains unexposed; makes handicap debut here; can't be ruled out.
Ex-Irish mare who returned from long absence with two good efforts at Ludlow for new stable this year (2m5f/2m); didn't get very far at Hereford on Sunday but has possibilities if all goes to plan here.
Four-time hurdle winner (3m-3m1f); back down to a workable mark and drying ground will aid her cause but she ended 2023 with two heavy defeats over fences and may find today's trip a bit sharp; had wind op during four-month break.
Dropped out quickly at Plumpton last month and needs to prove his wellbeing here but significant positive can be drawn from his handicap debut in January and he remains lightly raced.
Without a win since 2022 and evidently not as good as he was but ran game race in defeat over fences here (2m1f, heavy) in February and will be suited by today's less testing ground; could have a say.
Now back on same mark as when winning on handicap debut at Ludlow (2m, good) last March but is yet to strike form after three starts this season (remote when second on latest outing) and needs to up his game.
Unexposed 7yo who made promising handicap debut when third at Sandown (2m, soft) for the Hobbs and Johnson stable last March; not seen again since but it will be very interesting to see what Harry Derham can do with him.
Won on Irish point debut in March 2023 and has displayed promise in three 2m hurdles this season; raced a bit too freely on latest outing but is open to improvement in handicaps and ought to be suited by today's step up in trip; had wind op in January.
Disappointing favourite when upped to 3m last month and now 0-6 over hurdles but held narrow lead before last-flight fall at Sandown (2m4f, soft) two starts ago and has obvious claims if judged on that performance.
0-6 over hurdles; both runs for new stable this year (2m4f/2m) were very respectable but he needs to find something extra here and others have more pressing claims.
Not beaten far when third of five on hurdle debut in summer 2022 but returned from long absence with two very underwhelming runs in January (2m-2m1f); still unexposed but needs to take a big step forward on handicap debut.
2-13 over hurdles, the latter win gained in a seller in autumn 2022; belied 80-1 odds when keeping-on fourth at Taunton (2m3f, soft; first-time visor) last month but others have much more convincing profiles.
